ABOUT OUR PHILANTHROPY
Arthritis
Alpha Omicron Pi’s international philanthropy is arthritis, and our philanthropy partner is the Arthritis Foundation. Since 1967, members and chapters have raised millions of dollars to fund research, provide resources, and support those affected by arthritis, a disease that disproportionately impacts women and also affects children.
AOII’s philanthropy dollars support several impactful Arthritis Foundation initiatives, including the Juvenile Arthritis Power Pack program, Juvenile Arthritis Camps, the Juvenile Arthritis Family Summit, and the 24/7 Helpline. Our Canadian sisters proudly support The Arthritis Society of Canada, furthering our shared mission to fight arthritis and improve lives.

OUR Local Efforts
We’re proud to continue this legacy of service at Delta Omega! Here’s how we’re making an impact in our community:
In the past year, we raised over $36,000 through our philanthropic efforts. Our chapter hosts a male pageant, Mr. MSU, in the fall and we host Strikeout Arthritis in the spring to support arthritis awareness, research, and support to the individuals who experience its effects daily.
In addition to our support of arthritis, locally we support Hope That Binds, a non-profit organization that supports families through the entire foster and adoption process. We host an annual Rose Sale and volunteer at their banquet and other events throughout the year. This organization is so special to our sisters because it is run by two Delta Omega alumni!
