Letter from the President

On behalf of everyone here at AOII’s Delta Omega Chapter, welcome!

Three short years ago, I began one of the most thrilling adventures of my life by joining AOII my freshman year of college. I knew a small amount about Greek life, but I could have never imagined what would be in store for me in the coming years.

Throughout my recruitment process, I heard many girls talk about how I would find my “home” in the organization I chose and how joining a sorority would change me for the better. At the time, those statements were just words but from the inside looking out now, I realize how much truth they truly hold with my time here in AOII.

Coming into AOII, my main reason for joining was to make friends. In three years as an active member, I have not only made friends but have formed relationships with these girls that are unlike any bond I have ever experienced.

As a whole, AOII has been there to encourage me, to inspire me, to push me, to challenge me, and, most importantly, to care for me.

I can’t even begin to imagine how differently my college experience would have been if not for this wonderful organization, and I am so honored to serve as the Chapter President for AOII Delta Omega this year.

As one of our founders, Stella George Stern Perry, once said, “Of all the blessings we count over, it seems to me none is greater than the consciousness of belonging to a family of thousands of sisters.”

Like Stella, I have found my home away from home, and I hope you will too.

My sisters and I truly appreciate you taking the time to visit our website and hope that it gives you a small glimpse into why AOII is not just four years but forever.
If you have any questions about AOII or Greek life in general, please do not hesitate to contact me at msu.aoiipres@gmail.com.

Roses,
